If a child is a land you may not own
Open this brochure for the Leddy Library at the University of Windsor, and you’ll find a chapbook by Trish Salah nestled inside. Published by Flat Singles Press in an edition of twenty, the interior pages of If a child is a land you may not own were printed on an HP LaserJet at the Leddy Library, with library brochures reused for the cover. Forms from the Office of the Registrar are incorporated as endpapers. The Poetry Center’s copy is a gift of Maxine King: when King contacted Flat Singles about buying a copy after the edition had sold out, the press offered her their master copy, suggesting she donate it to a library after reading.
