This beautiful broadside presentation of Joy Harjo’s “Eagle Poem” was printed in commemoration of the 2018 Tuolumne Meadows Poetry Festival in Yosemite. Designed by Jim Cokas and printed by Sandy Tilcock of lone goose press, this broadside was released approximately one year before Harjo was named U.S. Poet Laureate. Harjo, who was recently reappointed to the Laureateship for a rare third term, is the first Native American poet to serve in the position.
