This poem, which opens Sally Ball’s 2013 collection Wreck Me, shows us a moment of intense stillness and deep connection with the natural world. As noted in the colophon, master letterpress printer, designer, and papermaker Karla Elling printed this broadside on paper made from recycled cloth, including tablecloths and shirts.
