Tongue was a literary publication of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona. The journal featured work by University of Arizona students and faculty, including Jon Anderson and Steve Orlen. The May 1971 issue includes several very early poems from Mark Doty, published fifteen years before the appearance of his first book.
