Athanor

Athanor, v.1, no.1. Clarkson, NY: Athanor Press, 1971. 

Athanor was published in six issues between 1971 and 1975 and edited by Douglas Calhoun (George Butterick, Contributing Editor). Its first issue, from 1971, features the first of a three-part interview with Jack Kerouac alongside poems by Cid Corman, Charles Olson, and others. 

Athanor frequently published "microbooks" along with issues of the journal. The first issue's accompanying microbook was Spectrum Breakdown by Edward Dorn.
