Another Day on Earth

Photo of "Another Day on Earth," a broadside housed in a scroll of vellum.

This beautifully scrolled broadside features four poems by Kim Addonizio: “Storm Catechism,” “Half-Blind Elegy,” "November 11, 2004,” and “Another Day on Earth.” Printed with an image of a person holding what looks like a hoe or a scythe, this broadside was designed and printed by Delphi Basilicato. This broadside is wrapped in a delicate vellum wrapper, a type of paper originally made from calfskin but now made with plant-based materials. Kim Addonizio is the author of 11 books of poetry; her work is sensual and honest. You can listen to Addonizio read her poetry on Voca, our online audiovisual archive. Another Day on Earth was printed in an edition of 100 copies. This copy is number 4.
