Look Books

An annual subscription series created by Container, Look Books present hybrid literary and visual texts as View-Master reels. The reels, 3.5 inches in diameter, each contain seven pairs of images about the size of a pinky nail. Slide the reels into the View-Master, and the reader can click their way through each image, now magnified. The 2018 series, shown here, included reels by Teresa Carmody and Madison Creech, Derek Beaulieu, Sawako Nakayasu and Naomi Reis, Greg Santos, and Douglas Kearney.
