This monumental artist's book presents former National Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera’s poem “Borderbus” in conversation with abstract, brilliantly colored prints by Felicia Rice. The poem is written in the voices of two women who have been detained as they try to cross the US-Mexico border and are being transported on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) bus.
