This artist’s book, a meditation on death, grief, empathy, and survival, was produced in a very limited edition of 12. Each copy in the print run combines the text of Peter Gizzi’s poem “Ship of State” with unique photo collages by artist and designer Jon Beacham: no two books are exactly alike.
