Intellectual Things is Stanley Kunitz’s first book, published when he was only twenty-five. Kunitz signed this first edition copy in 1976, the final year of his term as Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress. Kunitz has the distinction of giving the first-ever reading in the Poetry Center’s long-running Reading & Lecture Series.
