At 5-inches by 6 ½-inches, this 1942 Christmas card is noticeably larger than Frost’s later Christmas cards. The card is formed by folding a single sheet twice (a French fold). An illustration of a winter scene by J. O’Hara Cosgrove II is presented on the cover with hand-coloring, meaning that every card is therefore unique. Only 1250 copies were produced, making this one of the scarcest Robert Frost Christmas cards.
