This poem from Natasha Trethewey’s fourth book of poetry, Thrall, is here presented in handset type printed letterpress at the Rose O’Neill Literary House, a literary center on the campus of Washington College. Trethewey’s elegy for her father takes center stage on this cream colored sheet; a simple, blue decorative border evokes the river in which the poem is set.
