This book of stories and poems is a charming piece of Southwestern literary history; it was published privately by Robert McKinney, the publisher of the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper, in an edition of 1000. The Poetry Center acquired this copy from Casa Camino Real Book Store and Art Gallery, run by writer and activist Denise Chávez. This copy originated from the library of Las Cruces Poet Laureate Keith Wilson.
