This beautiful book was printed and designed with hand set text by Carroll Coleman at the Prairie Press in Iowa City. The book jacket reads, "These poems, published here for the first time, enthusiastically proclaim the poet’s response to a new environment, a summer spent in the lower Berkshire hills of Connecticut. Although they deal with many topics and bring together such diverse cultural strains as Hindu mythology and the Eichmann trial, the poems are unified by a summery freshness of response and an interrelationship of references to the significant events of the poet’s experience."
